KC SAFARI RESERVE | LIMPOPO

KC Safari Reserve came into being as a pioneering conservation project in 1998. The land on which the reserve is founded covers over 6 000 hectares in the Waterberg wilderness and was originally used for farming cattle. The vision behind the project was to increase the value of the property by converting it into a wildlife reserve and establishing a commercial game lodge. Karin’s Camp is set upon the Waterberg Plateau and is designed to blend harmoniously with the surroundings.

KC Safari Reserve is located within the UNESCO Waterberg Biosphere, a protected malaria-free environment which is home to White Rhino, Buffalo, Leopard, Giraffe and Zebra and other natural predators. The Waterberg is also of cultural importance due to its collection of historic Bushman Paintings and Iron Age sites. The reserve is situated north-west of Johannesburg and can be reached in two and a half hours from OR Tambo International Airport.
